We came here for our anniversary and were delighted to come to a table that had and anniversary card and confetti hearts. We had the buratta, short ribs, abalone, and blueberry mousse. Every single bite was delicious. I was also super impressed with the staff. They had a customer who was causing a lot of problems (and even put her hands on one of the wait staff). During the entire time, the staff remained calm and professional. I doubt if unruly customers is normal since this is a nice restaurant, but again was really impressed on how they handled the situation. We will definitely be coming back when we visit Carmel.

Had lunch at the Grasing's Restaurant and it was fabulous. We had King Salmon and it was the best we've ever had. We also had the pear with butter lettuce as an appetizer. The rice and vegetables with our lunch were delicious. Thinking about going back today before leaving the area.

I spent 3 nights in Carmel this past June, and Grasing's was by far my favorite dinner experience. My hostess was so very sweet, and she made my Izzie feel like the princess that she is. The patio is very quiet and serene, and the heat lamps made it very cozy. They provided lovely dog beds, Izzie of course, refused to use it, but it was offered. The patio has a self-service station so you can get water for your dog as often as you might need it, which I think is great. I really didn't want to have to flag down the waiter for that sort of thing. Speaking of our waiter... he was the nicest guy! He was funny, and nice, and knowledgeable, and made us feel very comfortable. I was not starving, so I didn't have an entrée, instead I chose to have the asparagus, the mushrooms, and the macaroni & cheese. They were all great, but the mac & cheese in particular was super yummy. I had a ginger bliss mocktail, which was sublime. I could easily have had a few more of those. Yum! But the highlight of the meal was the Crème Fraîche Panna Cotta. It was perfection. Just the right balance of sweet, crunchy, smooth, creamy, and just so very delicious. I will be dreaming about that dessert for a long time to come. The dog menu is really good, Izzie had the brown rice, which I mixed with her food, and she was super-happy about it. I'm really looking forward to going back to Carmel and experiencing this restaurant again.

I had my wedding reception at Grasing's and they went so so far above and beyond our expectations! Nicole was so helpful and responsive during the planning process and Darryl could not have been more accommodating and gracious! Our guests were blown away by the professionalism of the staff throughout our evening and everyone raved about the food! There were so many options that everyone got something they really loved!! Also, everyone got plenty of food and were totally stuffed! Nicole arranged a beautiful set up as far as table arrangements and place settings, including custom menus and florals. I dropped my decor off to Darryl the night before our wedding and the next day he had everything set up perfectly as I had envisioned. I got so many compliments about how nicely everything was set up & the rooftop patio created the perfect atmosphere for our intimate wedding. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn't change a single thing. Grasing's was absolutely the best choice I made in planning my wedding! My husband and I will have the most amazing memories of our big day thanks to the Grasing's staff!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Food is always delicious !!!!..great service... ambience is busy but comfortable.. definitely recommend it for a an excellent dinner

Food is very good, Service wonderful, and nice ambiance. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. We have tried many different dishes on the menu. Never disappointed.

Easy walk in and into well dressed tables, helpful polite atmosphere. We split a butter leaf salad and and smoked salmon avocado toast for lunch. A wonderful glass of sancere as well. Wonderful food

Today we treated ourselves to dinner at Grasings. What a treat Chef Mario outdid himself tonight for Valentine's Day. I think Mario has been here less than a year. In that time he's gradually taken the "Grasings Menu" and transformed it into his version. Yes, it's still the tried and true Grasings menu but it looks different as in alive and fresh--and upgraded from Mario's repertory. It's just darn good now. Started with numerous appetizers of salads, crab cakes and soups. All were outstanding. Take the soup, a restaurant mainstay. I've had it several times and loved it. Being Greek I recognized as Avolemeno (egg and lemon) soup. Mario took that as a base and added minuscule amount of tiny diced carrot, rice and chili oil splash. Loved it. The pork chop was to die for as was the Filet. A chicken main was also ordered and delish. I forget to mention we did a caviar starter -- Pringles, crème fraise as well as a chopped red onion and small diced eggs to go with the caviar-- even traditional blinis. Dessert made in house by a creative pastry chef. Last, everyone knows restaurants usually gouge patrons on these kind of holidays. Prefixe menus that cost $175-$200 each is not uncommon. Grasings took a different approach-+$98 each. Come on man-- thats bargain for 3 courses with 5-6 choices per group. Yes, you will buy cocktails, and wine and pay tax and tip but isn't it nicer on $98;vs $200? Do,yourself a treat and go. BTW-+ the absolute best wine list in Carmel. I'm guessing over 500 different wines including some of the rarest wines you've ever imagined. How about a vertical of Harlen Estate from the early 70's. 59 Lafitte? Yup. You get what I'm saying.

A beautiful classic restaurant. Very professional & nice staff. And the food was amazing. We'll definitely be back! They also put a nice card and confirm on the table for my birthday and a candle on the dessert. I appreciate the kind gesture. - Bone-in Ribeye for Two: Fantastic! The steak was perfectly cooked (we asked for medium-rare). The meat had great flavor but needed a pinch of salt. It came with potato gratin, which were out of this world! And vegetables which were fresh & pretty standard. It was 32oz for $145 and so worth it. We will order this again. - Mac&Cheese "Gruyère & Cheddar": We really wanted this and it was pretty good not amazing though, good portion. - Peach & Huckleberry Crisp: Very yummy & comforting, great end to our meal. It was sweet but not overly sweet and the ice cream on top was great too.
